Job Description: The Free People Project, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, well-organized Content Writer & Archivist. This project-based role involves building curriculum and outlines from notes, recorded content, and other key archival responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and provide updates on tasks.
- Check and respond to emails promptly.
- Use Clockify to manage your time and submit reports for payment.
- Participate in periodic co-work sessions with team members.
Tasks:
1. Monitor the Archive Database and the Archive email
2. Archive Materials:
- Complete deep notes for media content using the Deep Notes Template.
- Properly file and log the completion of deep notes.
- Perform quality checks on completed work.
3. Newsletter:
- Search archives for content.
- Write and submit the newsletter for editing.
4. Patreon:
- Create 4-5 weekly posts aligned with the monthly newsletter.
- Schedule posts with provided visuals for the upcoming year.
- Check and respond to Patreon messages and notifications.
- Grow the Patreon community through active involvement.
Qualifications:
- Must have archival experience
- Self-motivated and well-organized.
- Enjoys writing and collaborating with team members.
- Welcomes feedback and independently completes tasks.
- Meet demands of remote work, including maintaining internet service and computer
